Key Notes

Key notes is a property management and real estate news letter that I have been sending out to our owners out for years. Recently an owner asked me to send him one of the old ones for his property manager in Las Vegas. So I figured I would publish them. There have been a lot of great ideas that have worked and some that did not. However, what does not work in our market may work in yours.

I usually try to send them out once a month but sometimes more. The market in Southwest Florida has been at the center of the Nation’s eye for a long time. A few years ago we were the number one market in sales, growth, new home start ups, and appreciation.

Then as they say, the bottom fell out. We were number one again, this time for all the wrong reasons depreciation, job loss, declining sales you name it.

Now things are starting to turn around again and now we are back on top as being the number one market for appreciation in the month of December 2011. First one in, first one out is the theory behind it, but none the less it has been a fast paced market to say the least.

Cities
The cities we work and play in are Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Bonita Springs and North Naples. We have sold thousands of homes throughout the area in the last 11 years and have agents that have expertise in all areas.

We also have several hundred owners and properties and thousands of tenants that we manage. Key Notes is geared mainly towards the property management side but occasionally I will send one out to our owners or agents that have purchased homes as well.

Key notes will give you insight into how we do business and what Key Real Estate is really about. It covers a wide variety of topics including property management, dealing with tenant and vendors,  and ideas on how to do business and dealing with the market that we have been blessed with. We have has several owners and other property managers use some of these ideas in other states as well.

I hope you enjoy Key Notes and if you have any ideas you would like to know more about I will let you know if we have ever tried it or come across it.

Thank you for taking the time to read Key Notes
